Merriam-Webster is America's foremost publisher of language-related reference works. The company publishes a diverse array of print and electronic products, including Merriam-Webster's Collegiate® Dictionary, Eleventh Edition—America's best-selling desk dictionary—and Webster's Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged.

The Urban Dictionary can be implemented by the users and is a great help with slangs and abbreviations. 

Linguee is a unique translation tool combining an editorial dictionary and a search engine with which you can search hundreds of millions of bilingual texts for words and expressions.

The results will provide you with a quick overview of various translations of your search term. On the right hand side, you see example sentences from other sources to give you an idea of how your search term has been translated in context.

Dictionary.com is an interactive and reliable source for word meaning and usage. It also provides interaction with mobile phones, iPads, android applications and API data services.
